Religious TV is irritating.

I made the mistake of venturing into the part of the Sky EPG I never usually touch the other day, and discovered the 50-odd religious channels. It turns out that, shock horror, they’re shamelessly using religion to extort money from viewers! Here’s a little compilation video I made…

   [..YouTube..] Ka-CHING! Notice how they don’t provide a money back guarantee in case god doesn’t deliver. I also find it amusing that they appeal to one of the basest of human motivations: GREED. I wonder what they do with the notes of testimony that accompany the “seeds of jubilee.” Toilet paper?

   Good compilation, I remeber flicking through the channels when i lived in America that there are a lot of these programmes. The worst were on the local radio channels. I hadn’t realise that these shows were now coming to Europe. It seems that religious leaders still think it is good to scam people out of money although this goes against one of the 10 comandments not to steal. This I find quite ironic.
