    Littlejohn… Bigcunt
    December 22nd, 2006 at 02:47

    Dear Dick Littlejohn,

I hate you. I think you’re a cunt. I hope you’re vain enough to search Technorati for yourself so that you see this. If I had the energy, I’d list a series of reasons explaining why I would happily starve you of oxygen and stamp on your face whilst wearing a boot with nails for studs, but I think this quote from your latest column about the Ipswich murders neatly sums up my point:

“That doesn’t make it justifiable homicide, but in the scheme of things the deaths of these five women is no great loss. They weren’t going to discover a cure for cancer or embark on missionary work in Darfur.”

I think your death, Richard Littlejohn, would be no great loss- in fact, I would consider it a cause for celebration. You’re not going to discover a cure for cancer or embark on missionary work in Dafur. Is the world really better off that you’re polluting it with hate-filled bile?

I’m seriously struggling to write a coherent sentence, because you have made me so angry. I originally planned this post to be simply a link to your column followed by the word “cunt” a few hundred times.

Seriously, what the fuck? Its hard to express how completely wrong you are, because I find myself feeling physically sick when I actually think about what you’ve written both in this column and in the past.

    I hate you, Littlejohn. You’re a cunt.

Damn that article is scary. That’s the worst article I’ve read in the Daily Mail, and that is saying something.

Well, I’ve left a comment, that might get edited or not even published at all. I’ve copied it below in case it never sees the light of day on the Daily Mail website. Worryingly the comments made by some of the readers such as this one:

An unpalatable article, but the most intelligent piece of journalism I’ve read in quite a while.

      - John, Paris

That was intelligent journalism? Sounds like Paris is in some desperate need of investigative journalism, or maybe John needs to go read a different paper. How do these people cope?

      My comment:

LittleJohn, have you tried to help any prostitutes to get off their addiction to drugs? You pointed out that they may never do anything useful in their lives, and you go on to point out that there are charities that these woman could have turned to. Do you help these charities in anyway or do you expect charities to pick up the tab for the problems of society?

I’ve never taken heroin, have you? As far as I can tell it is a very addictive drug. I’m sure these woman wouldn’t have gone onto the street after the first couple of murders if they could avoid taking the drug for a couple of days. It would seem from that, that the drug is more important to them than their own lives.

In my opinion, the way forward is to provide Heroin on the NHS free of charge. Treat like an illness, not a crime. That would take away 95% of prostitutes, remove most of the profits of drug dealers and reduce burglary.

Excellent comment- the one I submitted didn’t get published. Admittedly it was just “You are a cunt”, but still.

I’m reading the wikipedia entry for littlejohn: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Littlejohn

Much like his articles, there is a lack of references but it does state the following: “Littlejohn reportedly earns an annual salary of between £700,000 and £800,000, making him the Mail’s highest-paid journalist.”

Maybe that’s what I should do, write like that and get the big money.

Embleton, heroin itself could not be available on the NHS as it is an impure unsafe opiate. Methadone, a heroin-replacement therapy that satiates the addiction is available on the NHS already. The problem is that the waiting list to get seen at the Drug and Alcohol centres and clinics is insanely long. The service is superb but incredibly under-provisioned for the need that is out there.

Glad to see he things so much of life.

Wonder how he’d feel if someone put a less than flattering line on his gravestone.

There is great information on this blog. I am in love with your blog so far. I’ve added the feed to my Google Reader RSS subscriptions and will continue reading your work. I did have a problem with how quick this page loaded. Might be a problem to optimize.
