There's far too many people at #wsitp that I want to speak to. Can you all form a queue please?

I'd love to get a job as one of those whimsical continental clowns, but I can't do the "disappear up my own arse" trick.
16:31 13 hours 53 minutes ago
I thought the tears of a clown had become a cliche, but no one told the lion tamers, who regularly make their lions punch me.
16:31 13 hours 53 minutes ago
You don't know how hard it is being a clown. Everyone laughs at you, not because you're telling jokes but because they think you're a dick.
16:29 13 hours 55 minutes ago
Off to go and pick up 150 whoopee cushions. OKAY I ADMIT IT, I AM A CLOWN, AND ONLY MOONLIGHT AS A RESPECTABLE WEB EDITOR.
16:00 14 hours 24 minutes ago
I bet if I lived in Notting Hill or Kensington finding a shop that sells glass tat would be easy.

(nb: the fishbowl isn't needed for fish, but collecting business cards)
15:57 14 hours 27 minutes ago
Where the hell do I go to buy a fishbowl in London? nb: I've never bought furniture before. I only tend to buy gadgets...
15:48 14 hours 36 minutes ago
I'll have to take the bowl and the whoopee cushions on the tube on Wednesday. I've gone from Stalin to Mr Bean in one conference call.
15:39 14 hours 45 minutes ago
...and I'm picking up some whoopee cushions tonight.
15:39 14 hours 45 minutes ago
Okay, work gets a little stranger. I need to source a fishbowl in London (sans fish) before Wednesday morning...

So I'll be taking an exciting trip to the depot when I should be on my way to #SITP. Day not going well.
11:20 19 hours 4 minutes ago
A delivery that I need for 6am tomorrow was missed because the driver didn't follow the delivery instructions I gave him. Gahhhh.
11:20 19 hours 4 minutes ago
Okay, so contrary to earlier statements, look like I may be only just on time / late for #SITP tonight for reasons I will moan about now:
11:08 19 hours 16 minutes ago
What a horrible morning.
11:08 19 hours 16 minutes ago
9:30am: Phonecall asking if I know where friend is, hasn't been seen for 3 days. Panic Attack. 11:05am: Text "She's just got home".

According to my housemate, who works at a media monitoring place, apparently #ten23 made the frontpage of Chemist & Druggist magazine.

    I love horses?
    June 10th, 2006 at 15:02

JD and Charlie dropped a rather horse-shaped bombshell on me the other day. It turns out that on Sunday morning, I am going horse riding. Seriously. Horse riding.

It’s costing me £18 for a half hour “lesson” in “horse riding”- that’s sixty pence a minute, so I’m hoping that the odds of winning big riding a horse outweigh that of phoning up Deal or No Deal 30 times.

I can’t believe I’m going to ride a horse either.

Scarily, the term “lesson” has been used a lot when describing this. This means that rather than piss about riding a horse, taking various “comedy” photos of myself, I’ll actually have to learn about horses. I’ve been told I’ll have to take it “seriously”, so they’ll be no cowboy hats or making jokes about the undoubtably posh instructor.

The worst thing is, apparently JD and Charlie have done it before, with JD specifically telling the person when booking that I’d never ridden a horse before. I imagine this will mean whilst I’m being lead around on a string (to demonstrate what it’s like being a horse), they’ll be literally galloping away jousting or whatever. I blame my working class parents who never had the decency to take me on even just one fox hunt.

I “can’t wait”! Tune in tomorrow for the full story (and photos)

haha, james, me and jd havnt ridden for years.
its not as easy as you seem to think its going to be, it wont be a lesson about horses, itll be someone telling you how to control it and hence keep you ON the horse.

its fun, you’ll enjoy it. if you want to joust so much, maybe we could set up a bicycle tournament?
